Skagit PSS rarely, if ever, hires anyone who has not served in the U.S. military and or U.S. law enforcement. Skagit PSS gives preference in hiring those who have served honorably in the U.S. armed forces, as well as to those who have served honorably in a U.S. law enforcement agency. We also hire current and former high-risk private security contractors who have deployed downrange. All people hired by us are a result of trusted referrals. non-standard security ( no noobs and no wannabes )
- »At least five (5) years private security experience. (Similar or related law enforcement and or military instruction, training, and or experience may substitute).
- »A military or law enforcement background (combat arms MOS if military, patrol or better if law enforcement is highly preferred).
- »Worked overseas in a high risk/high threat area, a combat zone/conflict zone, or instructed and trained those who have worked overseas in a combat or a conflict zone.
- »Received instruction and training in small arms, self defense, small team/unit tactics, tactical/defensive driving and emergency trauma care (Combat Lifesaver, TCCC, EMT, etcetera) required.
- »Verifiable certified training in advanced security (EP, PSD, PSS, etcetera) preferred. (Similar, verifiable training in the military or law enforcement sectors may substitute).
